The HICCUP Coffee & Shakes (or commonly referred to as just “The Hiccup”) is Asbury University’s on-campus coffee shop that provides students with not only coffee and other delicious drinks, but gives students “a place to refuel and a catch up with friends,” said junior Hannah Ericksen.
The Hiccup, now open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., added this additional day of business since “a lot of students asked us to be open on Saturdays,” said Ellie Morgan, one of The Hiccup’s managers. Furthermore she said, “Having The Hiccup open on Saturdays will be a great way to provide a place to study, hang out and build community during the weekend!”
Hearing that The Hiccup would be open an additional day was very exciting to some students. Now “you don’t have to travel more than 20 miles on the weekend to get a decent cup of coffee,” said Ericksen.
Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
