Fatal accident on Harrodsburg Road

On Oct. 26, 2019, there was a fatal accident near the y-intersection of U.S. 68 and Wilmore Road.
Officials confirmed the death of 20-year-old Hunter Blair that night, who was a passenger in one of the
vehicles. The other two passengers in the vehicle with Blair were transported to UK Hospital, while the
other vehicle’s passengers had only minor injuries, according to WKYT News.
Blair graduated from West Jessamine High School in May with the 2019 class. Friends and family of Blair
have posted across Facebook how they miss him and wish him peace. Taylor Henson, a friend of Blair’s
said in a post, “Hunter was a sweet soul… I know his life meant something, and I know God is watching
over all of us affected… especially him.”
Blair’s visitation and funeral were Saturday Nov. 2 at Betts and West Funeral Home.
