Choralfest kicks off on Oct 10, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the Jameson Recital Hall. Leading up to the concert at 7 pm, Asbury Music Department students will work with local high school students to create a performance.
“Basically, it’s a day where we invite students from a local high school to come and sing with the chorale,” Asbury Music Education Major Grace Price said.
The high school students are able to learn alongside the Asbury Choral throughout the day and get to experience what it is like to be a part of the Music department.
“We have a few intensive rehearsals, and the students tour campus, eat in the caf, and the day culminates with the concert,” Price explained.
Students are invited to attend the concert and support not only their fellow students but also the high schoolers who are participating.
