As students are studying for finals week, the Student Activities Cabinet (SAC) is planning a Christmas-themed event to give everyone a much needed break from the long hours of preparing for their exams.
The Finals Week Countdown is taking place on the Flag side of the Student Center (STUCE) at 7 p.m. on the Tuesday of finals week.
“We are planning to have some grab and go snacks and drinks for people to take with them, especially as they study!” said SAC team member Eva Green, “we will also have a hot chocolate bar!”
This event is open to all Asbury students and will include lots of snacks, Christmas-themed games to participate in and an ornament decorating station.
“We know it’s a stressful time,” said event planners Dalton Fleshood and Green, “and we want to provide a space to come catch a brain-break from the studies, grab a snack, socialize and have fun!”
If you and your friends are in need of a study break this finals week, stop by the Stuce for games, refreshments and fun organized and run by the SAC team.
