Family Cave Day is an event held by AdventureServe Ministries. The trip will take place Saturday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Cave Day trip is designed to offer more than just an ordinary day exploring caves. It is designed to build stronger relationships with family and appreciation for God’s creation.
According to the AdventureServe Ministries website, this event “will provide an opportunity for families to strengthen bonds and create lasting memories in a beautiful, natural setting.”
The trip will be conducted with expert guidance and carefully planned routes. With these measures, they ensure a safe, enjoyable and enriching experience for all ages. The minimum age for cavers is eight.
AdventureServe Ministries is a non-profit, inter-denominational missions organization/faith-based camp and retreat center, offering several outdoor-related events for families.
“We serve communities by equipping groups and individuals with programs that combine adventure and service. This adventure and service cultivates Christ-centered community and encourages growth through transformational experiences with God, self, others, and nature. Adventures are at the core of what we do. From caving and climbing to canoeing, hiking, and challenge courses, every activity is a tool for teaching life lessons and building confidence.” said AdventureServe.
The cost of the cave trip is $25 per person. This fee includes lunch, caving gear and travel to the cave venue.
The event will begin at AdventureServe Ministries at 709 East Main Street in Wilmore, Ky. and travel from there in vans to the caves.
