Creo Arts is a local art gallery and guild located in downtown Wilmore. The mission of Creo Arts is to support and encourage local Christian artists.
The Creo Arts Gallery, located at 312 East Main Street, is open for viewing every Thursday and Saturday from 12-5 p.m. According to their website, the gallery “displays original works of art by artists who are a part of the Creo Arts community. We host different events and workshops throughout the year to bring the larger Wilmore community into our space. We seek to be a vibrant gallery space for both artists and patrons (those who aren’t artists, but support artists).”
In addition to the gallery, Creo Arts hosts events for the Wilmore community, including but not limited to workshops, art shows, guild gatherings and open studio time.
The Creo Arts Guild works to support artists not just professionally but also personally and spiritually. They also aim to “build relationship[s] between artists, the church and the community; encourage art appreciation and patronage among Christians, churches and the local community; and bring beauty, goodness and truth to the world through the arts.”
The guild meets every Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at The Sanctuary, located at 330 East Main Street, Wilmore, KY. The next guild gathering will be held on April 4.
