Asbury University’s senior class cabinet announces the annual Junior/Senior Dance. This dance takes place every spring and is one of many events put together by class cabinets to offer a break from classwork and encourage campus community. The theme for this year was revealed, titled “A Trip to the Moon.”
The dance will take place on Saturday, April 6, at Limestone Hall in Lexington. It will begin at 7:30 pm and conclude around 11 pm. Students get to dress up in their best formal attire, take photos, have fun on the dance floor, and sample an array of snacks and desserts.
When asked what she was most looking forward to about the Junior/Senior dance, senior student Addie Tighe said, “It’s always fun dressing up and taking cute photos with your friends, and I always enjoy getting dinner with everyone after.” For seniors at Asbury, this dance offers an opportunity to visit with friends and have fun together during their last semester. Noah Clark, also a senior, expressed excitement for the dance, saying, “I just like having fun with the people I love.”
All upperclassmen students are invited and encouraged to attend “A Trip to the Moon,” with tickets being free for seniors.
